Good koh lanta speedboat tours sell out weeks ahead in season and the great ones go first. Below: the 4 to book early, what each includes, and where they differ.
Spend eight hours from Koh Lanta exploring Koh Haa and Koh Rok by speedboat. Expect three snorkeling sessions, a beach lunch, clear water, clownfish, hotel transfers, and guides such as Deedy or Ruth. The ride can be choppy, and fins are not included.

From Ko Lanta, you’ll ride a speedboat to Maya Bay, Monkey Beach, Bamboo Island, and Phi Phi Don. Expect snorkeling, a beach buffet, soft drinks, fruit, and an English or Thai guide. Anoh is one guide praised for his calm, funny explanations. National park fees cost extra.
“Very beautiful spots, however be aware that is packed with tourists. Also, for us Phi Phi Don (which is the main island) was not interesting, as it was basically a shopping stop. We would have preferred to stay longer on Monkey bay to do snorkeling instead. Overall we enjoyed this activity and the guides were very nice.”
Leave your Ko Lanta resort by minivan, then speed across the Andaman Sea to Koh Haa and Koh Rok. You’ll snorkel at three sites, see anemones and reef fish, eat lunch on a white beach, and return around 4 pm. Guide Yaa has earned special praise for her friendly, capable work.

Spend about eight hours visiting Koh Rok Nai, Koh Rok Nok, and Koh Haa by speedboat from Koh Lanta. The crew, including Dean on some departures, keeps the day organized, but rough seas can make the ride tiring.
