Join a Spanish-speaking skipper, often Luca or Alejandro, on a two-hour RIB ride from Los Gigantes. Watch for pilot whales, dolphins, turtles, and flying fish in the Teno-Rasca Whale Sanctuary, then swim beneath the 600-meter cliffs at Masca Bay.

“Excellent trip - Captain was informative and, although he is Spanish, he did a great job of communicating clearly with everyone. We saw a pod of whales and had a fantastic sight seeing experience along the coastline. Small boat, with only 12 passengers- very comfortable and allowed for an up close experience with the whales. Highly recommend”

“Honestly one of the best trips I’ve been on. It was small so wasn’t too many people and easy to chat with everyone and the guide. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and answered all questions. We saw whales, dolphins, turtles and flying fish before the first hour! Great swim spot and snacks. So fun too going fast and following the flying fish. 10/10 would recommend over the bigger boats anyday”

★★★★★★★★★★4.4 · 84 reviews · 2 hours · from $53

From Puerto Colón, you’ll ride a small speedboat to a quiet bay about 15 minutes offshore, then snorkel for roughly 50 minutes to an hour. Guides provide wetsuits, masks, fins, and life jackets if needed. Small groups, usually no more than nine, keep the outing personal.

We originally booked snorkeling, but when we arrived they explained that the wind and waves would make visibility poor, and suggested we try scuba diving instead. We had thought about scuba diving before, but we assumed we’d need more time to prepare, and honestly we were all a bit scared,me, my husband, and our 15-year-old son. But the team was so kind and reassuring, explaining everything calmly and promising to guide us step by step. We decided to switch, and we’re so grateful we did. It became one of the most wonderful experiences we’ve ever had. The guides were patient, safe, and incredibly professional. I…”
