Good half-day speedboat trips sell out weeks ahead in season and the great ones go first. Below: the 11 to book early, what each includes, and where they differ.

From Trogir’s Kamerlengo Castle, you’ll ride a small speedboat to the Blue Lagoon, Maslinica on Šolta, and Duga Bay on Čiovo. Skippers such as Peter, Petar, Ivan, and Lujo provide local context, snorkeling gear, safety equipment, and flexible pickup help when available.

Spend five hours aboard Volcano Boat, a spacious 49-foot speedboat, visiting Kleftiko, Sykia Cave, remote coves, and Kalogries Bay. Swim, snorkel with provided gear, enjoy homemade snacks, and receive complimentary underwater and drone photos. The route may shift to southern Milos in strong northern winds.

Ride a small speedboat from Split to the Blue Lagoon for swimming and snorkeling, then explore medieval Trogir and possibly stop at Okrug Gornji. Expect about 5.5 hours, a group of no more than 14, and a bumpy ride if the sea turns rough.
“We were not taken to the blue lagoon - just a random beach near the blue lagoon, which was not pleasant at all. Felt very rushed and left every port early. There was also not enough snorkelling equipment for everyone on board.”
Take a private Quicksilver 675 from Gruž with skipper Ivan or Joseph, then shape your four hours around Kolocep’s Blue Cave and Lopud’s Sunj Beach. Snorkel gear, a GoPro, water, beer, and soft drinks are included, but an €80 fuel surcharge applies.

From Split’s Riva, a small-group speedboat carries you to Trogir, the Blue Lagoon, and Okrug Gornji in 4.5 hours. Expect swimming, snorkeling, free time, beach-bar atmosphere, and lively English-speaking skippers. The route may change with sea conditions.

Join Ivan or Toni for a five-hour speedboat outing from Split. Visit historic Trogir, swim at the Blue Lagoon, and snorkel near Ĺ olta at NeÄŤujam Bay. The group is limited to 12, with masks, floating noodles, water, wind jackets, and plenty of time in the sea.

Set out from Orikum Marina on a private speedboat for four hours around Sazan Island and Karaburun. Your captain can adjust the route for swimming, snorkeling, caves, and quiet bays. Equipment and drinks are included, and the boat carries up to seven people.
